That’s a quote from FSN Prime Ticket Play-by-Play voice John Ahlers. During the third period of last night’s Anaheim / Calgary game, there was a scrum in front of the net prompting Ahlers to utter that gem. I was watching that game and am now upset that I went to bed after the first and missed that wonderful moment. Thanks to Eric at Off Wing Opinion for brining it to our attention.
We have been resisting the urge to comment, but after that beautiful quote by Ahlers, we could hold back no longer. Possibly, the funniest part of the “brawl” was Nate Robinson’s “punch”. You’ll see it in real-time at the beginning and then again with a closer view at 2:41 into the clip.
