Does it have the feel of “Big Game morning” to anyone else?
I don’t want to overstate the importance of a single tilt in the first week of November, but it’s 30 degrees outside, it’s a Friday with first-place in town, our guys have just completed an uber-rare winning October, and all week long Coach Hanlon has reiterated the importance of building on the points earned last week out West, and not falling flat on the first night back home.
It’s a morning, too, that awakens the senses of possibility. Tomorrow brings the pylons in orange and black, and Monday the suddenly mediocre Sens. Three games against Eastern foes, two of them struggling mightily. We could get on a roll.
I christen this Big Game Morning in BlogHockeyTown.
