And I thought I sat around too much with Center Ice.
Great website.
I too have found a reason to plant myself in front of the old-fashioned TV -I just received, by CBC store order, the 10 episode, 450 + minute set of “Hockey: A People’s History.” I’ve been through two episodes and its great, even for those who already fancy themselves good historians of the game. Another special bonus, for those who understand la langue de Moli√®re (ou la langue de Maurice Richard) is that the DVDs have episodes in English et Fran√ßais. So you can listen to Gretz, and than B√©liveau in the French version.
I am an expatriated Canadian puckhead now living and working in the south pacific and I just want to say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you! I almost let loose a tear with this discovery.
Spark, that may have been one of, if not the best comment we have received. It brings us joy that our blog helped you find a bit of home from so far away.  I also imagine that you are the first to visit our blog from the Solomon Islands.
Cheers!
