I am a big fan of Gary Bettman’s general handling of the most significant challenge on his watch — the lockout of ‘04-’05 — but it’s his handling of the smaller things that are still near and dear to the puckhead’s heart that really roils me. If THAT is not the hockey gods’ way of trying to tell Bettman and Co. something about those “jerseys”, I don’t know what is. Every single season I have to worry about what the hell the NHL will be doing next to alieanate it’s traditional fans. Jede einzelne der Saison habe ich zu befürchten, was die Hölle der NHL tun werden neben alieanate es den traditionellen Fans. This league has such an inferiority complex…why don’t they just know there place (in the sports pecking order) and be happy with it…..Conference/Division name changes,countless rule changes (back and forth), too many teams, unbalanced schedules,shortened games,lockouts and the worst of all Shootouts!!Next they will be having shootouts in the playoffs….I am one step away from only watching college and minor league hockey exclusivley. Diese Liga ist wie ein Minderwertigkeitskomplex…, warum sie nicht nur wissen, dass es (in der Sport- Rangordnung) und gerne mit ihm… .. Konferenz / Division Name ändert sich, unzählige Regel Veränderungen (hin und her), zu viele Teams , Unsymmetrisch Zeitpläne, verkürzt Spiele, Aussperrungen und der schlechteste aller Shootouts! Weiter werden sie nach Schießerei in die Playoffs…. Ich bin nur einen Schritt weit entfernt von der Hochschule nur beobachten und kleinere Liga Eishockey exclusivley. The lockout showed that this can be done….but before this new insult is levied, players and fans have to put up a fight against these horrible looking jerseys. Die Aussperrung hat gezeigt, dass dies getan werden kann…. Aber bevor diese neue Beleidigung erhoben wird, Spieler und Fans haben, um einen Kampf gegen diese schrecklichen suchen Trikots.
