I suspected that Alex II was leading the entire NHL in goals scored after that hat trick of Saturday night, but wasn’t quite sure. I therefore was anxious to read the WPost sports pages on Sunday — no mention of goal leader and no league-wide stats of any kind — and this morning — again, no mention. Granted, it’s early in the season, but what else is there to write about. Adding insult, this morning no hockey article at all (large PAID ad for Alex I tribute next Saturday) and stats from LAST YEAR. It’s no wonder folks are looking elsewhere for their hockey news.
